When Every Second Counts

Polytrauma (multiple serious injuries) is a critical condition where the outcome often depends on the quality of care received in the first hour—the "Golden Hour."

At Trinay Orthopedic Hospital, we are a dedicated Trauma Center equipped to handle high-velocity road accidents, industrial injuries, and falls. Our team coordinates with neurosurgeons and intensivists to save both lives and limbs.

In emergencies, trust the experts. Learn more about our facilities on our About Us page, or Contact Us for location details.

Our Trauma Protocols (ATLS)

We follow globally recognized Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) protocols to ensure no injury is missed:

Airway

Ensuring oxygen flow.

Breathing

Supporting lung function.

Circulation

Controlling hemorrhage.

Deficit

Checking nerve/brain status.

Damage Control Orthopedics (DCO)

In unstable patients, we use a 3-stage stabilization process:

  • Stage 1: Immediate stabilization with external fixators to control pain and bleeding.
  • Stage 2: ICU stabilization of organ systems and shock recovery.
  • Stage 3: Definitive surgery (Internal Fixation) once the patient is medically cleared.

Saving Limbs, Restoring Lives

We specialize in Pelvic & Acetabular fractures, open wounds, and crush injuries that require a coordinated multidisciplinary approach.

Trauma FAQs

What is "Compartment Syndrome"?

It is a surgical emergency where pressure builds up inside the muscles, cutting off blood flow. Pain out of proportion to the injury is the main sign. We perform immediate fasciotomy to save the limb.

Can multiple fractures be fixed at once?

Yes, if the patient is "stable." If the patient is unstable, we use "Damage Control" (temporary external fixators) and perform definitive surgery 5-7 days later.
