Precision Fixation for Severe Injuries
At Trinay Orthopedic Hospital, we provide expert care for complex fractures using modern fixation techniques. Unlike simple breaks, complex fractures involve multiple fragments, joint surfaces, or open wounds that require trauma-trained expertise.

What Makes a Fracture "Complex"?
A fracture is considered complex if it has any of the following features:
- Intra-articular: The break extends into the joint (like the knee or ankle).
- Comminuted: The bone is shattered into multiple small pieces.
- Open/Compound: The bone has broken through the skin, risking infection.
- Displaced: The bone ends are severely out of alignment.
Advanced Fixation Methods
Internal Fixation (ORIF)
Using titanium plates and screws to perfectly realign joint surfaces. Essential for "floating" joint injuries.
Intramedullary Nailing
A metal rod inserted inside the bone's hollow center (for femur/tibia), allowing for faster mobility and weight-bearing.
Infection & Soft Tissue Control
In high-energy accidents, soft tissue damage is often more critical than the bone break. We use Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (VAC) and staged surgeries to ensure the area is clean before definitive internal fixation.
