Pediatric Orthopedic Treatment

Because children are not just small adults. Their bones grow, and so does our specialized care.

Specialized Care for Growing Bones

Children's musculoskeletal systems are vastly different from adults. Their bones are still growing, their joints are more flexible, and they heal much faster. However, injury to a growth plate can cause permanent deformity if not treated correctly.

At Trinay Orthopedic Hospital, we provide a child-friendly environment to diagnose and treat bone and joint issues in newborns, children, and teenagers. We understand the unique needs of growing bones.

Our specialized team is dedicated to your child's health. Learn more on our About Us page, or Contact Us for specialized pediatric care.

Common Conditions We Treat

  • Gait Abnormalities: In-toeing, out-toeing, and persistent toe walking.
  • Limb Alignment: Bow legs (Genu Varum) and Knock Knees (Genu Valgum).
  • Pediatric Trauma: Greenstick fractures and critical growth plate injuries.
  • Flat Feet: Corrective inserts for painful fallen arches.

Our Treatment Philosophy

We believe in "Least Invasive, Most Effective" care:

  • Observation: Monitoring many childhood conditions that correct themselves with growth.
  • Casting & Bracing: Ponseti method for clubfoot and corrective braces for alignment.
  • Guided Growth Surgery: Minimally invasive "growth steering" using small plates.

Pediatric Ortho FAQs

Will my child outgrow bow legs?

Physiological bow legs are common in toddlers and usually correct by age 3-4. If it persists or is severe, it needs evaluation to rule out Blount's disease or rickets.

Are flat feet problematic in kids?

Most children have flexible flat feet that cause no pain and require no treatment. We only recommend arch supports if the child experiences foot or leg pain.
