When Healing Goes Wrong
At Trinay Orthopedic Hospital, we specialize in Limb Reconstruction and Salvage. Most fractures heal well, but sometimes complications like Non-Union or infection arise, requiring expert second opinions.
Our team is dedicated to restoring function and mobility. Find out more about our facilities on our About Us page, or Contact Us for immediate assistance.
Complex Conditions We Treat
1. Non-Union (Failed Healing)
If a bone hasn't joined after 6-9 months due to poor stability or blood supply. We use Bone Grafting and rigid fixation to restart healing.
2. Mal-Union (Crooked Healing)
When bones heal in bent positions. We perform Osteotomies to cut and realign the bone perfectly.
3. Osteomyelitis (Bone Infection)
A multi-stage approach involving surgical debridement and antibiotic-loaded cement to clear infection before reconstruction.
Reconstruction Techniques
For severe bone loss, we use the Ilizarov Method or Limb Reconstruction System (LRS)—external frames that gradually grow new bone (distraction osteogenesis).
Saving Limbs, Restoring Lives
We respect the biology of the bone, using minimally invasive techniques to preserve blood supply essential for healing even in the most difficult cases.
